Some of the questions I hear most often from people who are considering therapy for the first time — or for the first time with me.
It's a 15-minute call where you share a little about what's been happening and what you're hoping for. I'll tell you about how I work and we'll get a sense of whether we're a good fit. No pressure, no commitment — just a conversation.
Most clients start with weekly sessions, especially in the early stages of therapy. As things stabilize, some clients move to biweekly. We'll figure out a rhythm that works for your schedule and goals.
Not at all. Many of my clients are self-identified as neurodivergent, exploring a late diagnosis, or simply recognizing patterns in themselves or their relationships. You don't need a formal diagnosis to benefit from neurodivergent-affirming therapy.
That's very common. Sometimes one partner starting individual therapy first creates enough positive change that the other becomes more open over time. Reach out and we can talk through your specific situation.
It varies a lot depending on what you're working on. Some clients see meaningful shifts in a few months. Others find longer-term support more valuable. We'll check in regularly on your goals and progress together.
Research consistently shows that online therapy produces comparable outcomes for most concerns. Many clients actually prefer it — no commute, familiar environment, and often easier to fit into a busy life. I only offer telehealth and find it works beautifully.
