What to Expect
From first contact to first session, here's exactly what the process looks like.
Send a message through the form, call, text, or use the booking link. However you get in touch is fine. I'll respond within one business day.
We'll find a 15-20 minute window that works for both of us. No intake forms or paperwork at this stage - just a time on the calendar.
You'll get a Google Meet link before the call. You share a little about what you're hoping to get out of therapy, I tell you about how I work, and we both get a feel for whether it's a good fit.
We schedule your first session. I'll send over intake paperwork to complete before we meet - straightforward, nothing overwhelming.
You'll receive a Google Meet link before your session. We meet, we get started, and we take it from there at a pace that works for you.
That's okay too. I'd rather be honest than have you spend time with the wrong therapist. I'm happy to point you toward someone who might be a better match.
Common Questions
I'm private pay and don't bill insurance directly. I can provide a monthly superbill you can submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Worth calling your insurance to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits before we start.
Sessions are $200-250 for 50 minutes. If the fee is a real barrier, reach out - I consider reduced fee arrangements on a case by case basis.
No diagnosis required. Many of my clients are still figuring out whether they might be neurodivergent. You don't need a label to get support - just a sense that something isn't working and a willingness to look at it.
Individual therapy is genuinely useful even when only one partner engages. Understanding your own patterns and building your own tools can shift a relationship in real ways - even without your partner in the room.
All sessions are fully online via Google Meet. You'll receive a link by email before each appointment. No special software to download - it runs in your browser. Any private, comfortable space works.
It depends on what you're working on. Some clients come for a focused few months. Others stay longer. We'll check in regularly about where things are and whether the pace still makes sense for you.
